These terms apply to direct reservations made with Illu Rental ApS, including reservations paid through Nets Easy /
Easy Paylink.

1. About Illu Rental
These Terms & Conditions apply to direct bookings of vacation homes operated by Illu Rental ApS in Ilulissat,
Greenland.

When a guest makes a direct reservation with Illu Rental ApS, the rental agreement is between the guest named on
the booking and Illu Rental ApS.

2. Booking and confirmation
A booking request is subject to availability. The booking is confirmed when Illu Rental has accepted the reservation
and the payment required under the applicable payment option has been successfully completed.
The guest is responsible for providing correct contact details, dates, number of guests and other information
relevant to the reservation. The property may not be occupied by more guests than stated in the confirmed
reservation or the maximum occupancy of the property.
The guest making the booking must be at least 18 years old.

3. Prices
The total price and currency for the stay are shown in the quotation or booking confirmation before payment. Any
mandatory charges included in the booking will be shown before the reservation is completed.
Illu Rental ApS is the seller and is responsible for the accommodation service covered by the direct booking.

4. Payment
Standard direct bookings
Unless another payment arrangement has been approved by Illu Rental, 100% of the total booking amount is due at
the time of booking.
Deferred payment option for guests with confirmed flights to Ilulissat
Guests who already hold confirmed flight tickets to Ilulissat may, subject to approval by Illu Rental, be offered a
deferred payment option. Under this option, 20% of the total booking amount is due when the reservation is
confirmed and the remaining 80% is due 30 days before arrival.
The guest must provide documentation of confirmed flight tickets to Ilulissat, and the deferred payment arrangement
must be confirmed in writing by Illu Rental. This option does not apply automatically to all reservations.
If the remaining balance is not received by the due date, Illu Rental reserves the right to cancel the reservation and
release the accommodation.
Payments may be made through a secure payment link provided via Nets Easy / Easy Paylink. Card information is
entered and processed in the payment provider's secure payment environment. Illu Rental does not receive or storeIllu Rental ApS | Ilulissat, Greenland | [email protected]
the guest's full card details.

5. Cancellation and refunds
Unless different cancellation terms are clearly stated and accepted for an individual reservation, the following policy
applies to direct bookings:
• A booking may be cancelled with a 100% refund of payments made if the cancellation is received at least 30 days
before the scheduled arrival date.
• For an approved 20% / 80% deferred payment booking, the initial 20% payment is also fully refundable if the
booking is cancelled at least 30 days before arrival.
• From 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, the full booking amount is non-refundable.
• In case of no-show, the booking is non-refundable.
Cancellations must be communicated to Illu Rental in writing. Any refund due under the applicable cancellation
policy will be returned to the payment method used where technically possible.
If a different rate or cancellation policy is clearly offered and accepted for a specific reservation, the terms for that
reservation take precedence over this standard cancellation policy.

6. Changes to a booking
Requests to change dates, property, number of guests or other material booking details are subject to availability
and must be approved by Illu Rental. A change may result in a different price. A requested change is not effective
until it has been confirmed by Illu Rental in writing.

7. Check-in and check-out
Standard check-in is from 3:00 PM on the arrival date and standard check-out is by 10:00 AM on the departure date,
unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Property-specific access and key instructions are sent before arrival. Guests are responsible for following the
access and check-out instructions supplied for the booked property.

8. Use of the property and guest responsibility
The accommodation is provided for temporary vacation use by the registered guests. Guests must treat the
property, furnishings and equipment with reasonable care and respect neighbours and local surroundings.
The guest should inform Illu Rental as soon as reasonably possible if damage, faults or other significant problems
are discovered during the stay, so that Illu Rental has an opportunity to assist.
Guests may be held responsible for damage caused deliberately or through negligent use by the guest or members
of the guest's party, subject to applicable law.

9. Problems during the stay
If there is a problem with the accommodation, the guest should contact Illu Rental as soon as possible during the
stay. Illu Rental will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues that are within its control.
Complaints relating to a completed stay should be sent to [email protected] with the booking details and a
description of the issue.

10. Events outside Illu Rental's control
Travel in Greenland can be affected by weather and transport conditions. Illu Rental is not responsible for flight
cancellations, delayed or cancelled boats, weather conditions, road or transport disruption, or other circumstances
outside Illu Rental's reasonable control.
The applicable cancellation policy continues to apply unless Illu Rental agrees otherwise or mandatory law requires
a different outcome. Guests are encouraged to obtain suitable travel insurance covering transport disruption, illness

11. Cancellation by Illu Rental
If Illu Rental is unable to provide the booked accommodation due to circumstances affecting the property or another
reason within Illu Rental's responsibility, Illu Rental will contact the guest as soon as reasonably possible and seek
an appropriate solution. If the booked accommodation cannot be provided and no acceptable alternative is agreed,
amounts paid for the unavailable accommodation will be refunded.

12. Personal data
Illu Rental processes personal information necessary to administer enquiries, reservations, payments, guest
communication and the stay. Relevant information may be shared with service providers where necessary to
provide the booking and payment services.
Payment card data entered in the Nets Easy / Easy Paylink payment flow is processed by the payment provider. Illu
Rental does not receive or store the guest's full payment card details.
Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

13. Travel agents and trade partners
Bookings made by travel agents, tour operators or other trade partners may be subject to separate rates, payment
terms and cancellation conditions agreed directly with Illu Rental.
Where separate agent or trade terms have been agreed, those terms take precedence over these standard Terms &
Conditions for the relevant booking.

14. Governing terms
These Terms & Conditions form part of the direct booking agreement together with the individual quotation, booking
confirmation and any property-specific conditions supplied to the guest.
If an individual booking confirmation contains terms that differ from these standard Terms & Conditions, the
specifically agreed booking terms take precedence for that reservation.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable
mandatory law.
